Niranjan Santhamoorthy leads the company’s healthcare portfolio, driving delivery excellence, strengthening contract support operations, and ensuring every engagement aligns with mission, scope, and quality across all health IT programs.
With 25+ years of progressive leadership across complex federal and state health programs, Niranjan brings a distinguished record of success in modernization, high-performing team development, mission-critical delivery, and enterprise technology strategy for some of the nation’s most vital health agencies.
Before joining Sky Solutions, he served as CTO at OptumServe Technology Services, where he shaped the organization’s technology vision and aligned its solution portfolio with evolving market and mission needs. Under his leadership, OptumServe expanded its modernization, digital transformation, and enterprise delivery capabilities while strengthening its reputation as a thought leader.
Throughout his career, Niranjan has built and led teams, executed complex programs within major federal agency environments, supported business development and M&A efforts, and contributed significantly to organic growth. He brings deep expertise in program and project leadership, empowering teams, navigating federal acquisition, and delivering mission-driven technical solutions.
Niranjan holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Computer Science and maintains a personal Innovation Lab where he experiments hands-on with 50+ active tech projects. He has a strong portfolio of certifications, including PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe 5 Agilist, Data Science & Machine Learning (Carlson School /Optum DSU), and Blockchain Technologies (MIT Sloan).
An avid outdoor enthusiast, Niranjan enjoys cycling, hiking, camping, and kayaking. He also contributes to community development as an Assistant Scout Master, and a Baseball Assistant Coach.
